BubbleTech produces a variety of aftermarket and custom parts for race inspired chassis. Benny, the owner, wanted to create something that was more modern and less playful than his current design.
Benny wasn’t to sure which direction he wanted to take his logo, and gave us pretty much free reign to try anything. With that in mind we gave him a variety of logo ideas, some that still kept the “bubble” theme but in a more minimalist style and others that were more experimental. We went through a number of designs, fonts, and ideas before finding elements that both of us liked.
The turning point
Benny told me to scratch the bubble entirely and go wild. He wanted one logo that would be easy to use for stickers and one for something he might want to use at a later date for his shop demo car. He sent me a variety of logos from famous Japanese tuning companies such as R-Magic as a baseline.
After finding some designs that Benny liked, we mocked them up on a demo car to see how it would look. Needless to say
Benny was super excited about the way the two main logos turned out and will likely be seen on his website soon as shirts, stickers, and much more.
Currently we are also working on a more abbreviated logo in a 4:3 ratio. It is still in its early stages but we are looking forward to continuing to support BubbleTech!
